Halloween

We had a big week of fun activities. Tuesday night, we went to a pumpkin carving party. Jack ran around and charmed everyone while we chased him. No carving for us, but it was fun to see some friends.

Wednesday night was date night! Chris and I had dinner at the Prohibition Room. Never been there but it was great. Then we went to Lyric’s production of Rocky Horror! We had a blast! The cast was fantastic and it was so much fun. What a great night out!

Friday was Jack’s Halloween party at school. He wore his costume and probably ate all kinds of sugar! He was adorable, according to his teachers. Later that afternoon, Chris brought him to my work- the Hospital had a trunk or treat event. He waddled from
car to car and got his candy. Again, he was too cute!

Today we did a pumpkin- i found a kit kind of like a light brite- you pound pegs into a shape (ours was a cat) and put a light in and it lights the colored pegs up. he enjoyed hammering the pegs in.

Tonight was trick or treat- OKC decided it should be on the 30th instead of the 31st, a Sunday this year. Whatever. There seemed to be less trick or treaters and less people home. I wonder if anyone will ring our bell tomorrow?

Jack went up and down our street and did pretty good. He caught onto walking up to the door and taking the candy. But, he really just had fun running around outside. He loves to run! After our street he was had pretty much lost interest in the whole thing so we just went home and handed out candy.

All in all, it’s been a great week and Jack has discovered chocolate. He is a big fan! I’ve had fun watching him discover Halloween and the trick or treat process. It is so fun to watch him learn new things. He catches on quickly! Baby genius!

Our pumpkin creation and Jack at the end of the night-
exhausted!

  1. I love the Nemo costume!!! I thought about doing that for Logan this year too. Jack looks so adorable, even cranky. Glad you had such a fun week of festivities!
